Primary Theater
Few days ago, all our primary students, enjoy an English Theater performed by the English Theater Company IPA Productions. They were delighted with recognized stories such as Litlle Red, Billy Banjo and Frankenstein. The actors and actresses made the children participate in the performance, that's the reason why they spend a very good time!! We hope to see them next year again!!

Shakespeare at the school
The Pocket
Oxford Theatre Company was at our center last Thursday 20th February to perform
Romeo and Juliet for all the students of ESO.
Queen
Elizabeth I telephones Shakespeare demanding that he performs his latest
tragedy for her Romeo and Juliet, or she will chop off his head. Unfortunately
, however, the Puritans have just burst into theatre, closing it down and
placing all the actors. Shakespeare and his girlfriend, Anne Hathaway, are left
into no other choice than to perform the play themselves with a little help
from our students . They discover a
masked ball, a barmy balcony scene, some serious sword fighting and a crazy
horse chase, not to mention learning how to make a tragic death scene really
tragic!!!

Cambridge EXAMS
KET
Why take the Key English Test (KET)?
Do you have basic English skills? Can you understand simple texts? Can you communicate in familiar situations? Can you understand short notices and simple spoken directions? If so, then the Key English Test (KET) from Cambridge ESOL is the exam for you, and we will prepare you to succeed in it, in the school every Friday from 15:30-16:30.
KET is the first-level Cambridge
ESOL exam, at Level A2 of the Council of
Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. KET shows that you can cope with everyday
written and spoken communications at a basic level. KET is an excellent first
step, helping you to build your confidence in English and measure your progress. KET uses language
from real life situations and covers the four language skills – reading, writing, listening
and speaking. It provides an assessment of practical skills, and will help you to learn
the English you will need for travelling, as well as in study and work situations.
PET
Why take the Preliminary
English Test (PET)?
If you can deal
with everyday written and spoken communications (e.g. read simple books and articles,
write simple personal letters, make notes during a meeting), then the Preliminary English
Test (PET) from Cambridge ESOL is the exam for you!! And we will prepare you for
this exam, in the school every Friday
from 16:30 to 17:30!! PET is the second level
Cambridge ESOL exam. It is an intermediate level exam, at Level B1 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework
of Reference for Languages.
PET is a valuable
qualification if you want to work or study abroad or to develop a career in international
business. Studying for PET is
a popular way to improve your language skills and use them in a wide range of
contexts. PET covers the four main language skills – reading, writing, listening and
speaking, using material from real life situations. It develops practical skills, which will
be of use in clerical, secretarial and managerial jobs, and in many industries, such as
tourism, where contact with English speakers is required.
NEXT EXAM 15th May.

English Drama in "INFANTIL"
LET’S GO TO
HAVE FUN!!!!
Monday 27th
January, we had a special visit from Laura from “Blue Mango Theatre Barcelona”
who came to tell us a story.
LITTLE RED
RIDING HOOD was acted out and told us in a fun and easy way completely in
English. Including puppets, storybook, props, music and acting out.
It was an
overall good fun learning experience for all groups, who were able to interact answering questions and
singing songs we had previously learnt.
Well worth
the experience as we could see how much they really understand.
